While most of our community will not require visas, everyone should verify this based on their situation.  Visa information starts with this link: https://www.irishimmigration.ie/coming-to-visit-ireland/visit-ireland-travel-path/.  Please note that for US citizens, conference attendance falls under the tourism category.  You must prove that you have a valid reason for entering Ireland to an immigration officer at border control.  To do so, you will need your passport and other documents. This may include a hotel reservation, meeting confirmation, travel itinerary, business invitation, etc.  If you cannot satisfy the immigration officer, you will not be allowed into Ireland.
