Scientific Workshops
The purpose of this society shall be to advance and disseminate knowledge concerning the principles, advances and applications of Threat Detection Sciences, via educational annual workshops in areas of contraband detection, like in the areas of explosives, illicit narcotics, chemicals, etc.
The overall mission is to assist in the communications, research & development, and education of detection, directly improving national and international homeland security. Scientific Workshops will provide continuity, advance planning, and a financing mechanism for holding of annual workshops, conferences and meetings.
