Hosted by the Scientific Workshops, NOTES
|
ISADE brings together scientists, policymakers, and first responders from government, law enforcement, the military, academia, and industry, working across the fields of Forensics, Characterization, Attribution, and Detection to discuss challenges and opportunities in explosives detection.
ISADE is the pre-eminent scientific meeting for the forensic and security applications of the chemical sciences and related fields, and is held every 3 years from the 1st ISADE Symposium in 1983. The ISADE Symposium Program will include expert assessments of the technical response to recent events in the Americas and Europe and the scientific challenges identified. State of the art analytical and forensic techniques will be presented, as well as characterization of novel materials. Advances in trace particle, vapor and canine detection will also be included.
The host of ISADE is the Scientific Workshops, which is operated as a USA 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Note: The Scientific Workshops will not host the Trace (TEDD) or Concealed Explosives (CEDD) & Drug Detection Workshops in the years the ISADE Symposium is held, which brings together the pre- and post-detection communities in the broader explosives detection fields.
