STUDENTS

One of the fundamental goals of the Scientific Workshops is to promote the educational science that supports the future development of trace explosives detection and forensic applications, use and technical understanding. To achieve this goal, the organizing committee believes it is essential to attract, encourage and foster the development of newer members of our community. In this spirit, we will provide limited financial support to full-time students studying in the area of ‘Trace Explosives Detection or Forensics.’ In order to be considered, students must submit an abstract for presentation and a letter of support from their research advisor. Student award recipients will be selected for either oral or poster  presentations in a special student award session. Note: a limitation of no more than one student per research group will be permitted to receive financial assistance.

A full time student who wishes to be considered for a student stipend award must submit an abstract for presentation and letter of support from the student's research advisor. The letter must state that you are a full-time student in his/her research group and must provide contact information for the research advisor and the student. Abstracts can be one to three pages total in length. This includes figures and references. The title, student's name and affiliation is to be centered at the top of the first page, followed by text and figures.

Trace Explosives Workshop Registration is after scholarship notification; do not register for the workshop before notification of scholarship award.
